Seis Pontes is a small shared game. This page says what the server keeps about you and why.
Your username, your email address and a salted hash of your password (never the password itself); the month and year you were born; your character (name, look, languages, where you are); and what you do in the game: your in-game euros, homes, jobs, skills, paintings, events, clubs, friends and the story so far. If you sign in with Apple or Google, the account number they give us and the email address they confirm. The phone app keeps a sign-in token on the phone; the server keeps only a hash of it.
Why: the email address is only for your account: a code when you forget your password, and a notice when your password or email address changes. No newsletters, and it is never shown to other players. The month and year of birth are there because players must be 13 or over, and under-18s get the spending limits in the store; we don't keep the day.
No real name, location or payment details. There are no adverts and no tracking or analytics scripts. A short-lived counter of failed sign-ins and code requests per address is kept to stop password guessing. A password-reset code is kept only as a hash, for 15 minutes.
Chat lines and whispers are stored so that reports can be checked, and other players in the room can read what you say. Slurs and (unless you turn the filter off) strong language are masked. Players can block each other.
Report a chat line from its menu, a player from their card, or a painting, event or club where you see it. The report keeps a copy of what was reported and the reason you gave, and a moderator reviews it within 24 hours. A moderator can remove content, silence a player's chat, or ban an account.
Chat lines are deleted after 30 days unless someone reported them. Everything else stays while your account exists. When you delete your account, what is kept and for how long is on the account deletion page.
Delete your account yourself, at any time: in the game under Settings → Account → Delete account, or on the account deletion page with your username and password. It happens at once and cannot be undone.
Ask for a copy of everything the game stores about you: write to the contact address below from your account's email address (or tell us your username). Within a month you get one file with your account, your character, your euros and their history, your homes, the chat lines you wrote, your reports and blocks, and the pictures you made, in a format other programs can read.
The game runs on Render (render.com) in Frankfurt, in the EU. Porto's weather comes from Open-Meteo; your browser never contacts it.
