Come and live by the Douro
You arrive in Porto with a hundred euros and a bag. The river turns gold at dusk, the iron arch of Ponte Luís I fills the sky, and somewhere across the Douro there is a room with your name on the door.
What you’ll do here
-
A real place, right now
The Ribeira, both decks of Ponte Luís I and the Cais de Gaia, laid out from OpenStreetMap data. Porto's real time of day and real weather: when it rains in Porto, it rains in the game.
-
A life to build
Work a café shift, carry crates to the port-wine lodges or ride bike deliveries. Climb a career, fish from the quay, busk in the Praça and paint azulejos.
-
A home of your own
Rent a bed, a quarto, a studio or a flat with a river view. Furnish it, paint the walls, then sit on your sofa, cook and watch TV.
-
A story told by the city
Twelve chapters told by the people of the Ribeira, 75 quests from one shop door to the next, and Reputação that opens bigger homes, businesses and events.
-
Real people, fair play
Chat, wave, give small gifts, host events and run clubs. No adverts, no tracking and nothing to buy: the euros in the game are game money only.
-
Honest note
Seis Pontes is young. The world is a few hundred metres of riverside around one bridge, not the whole city, and the other bridges are on the skyline for now. We add to Porto every week.
